As part of the construction of its new factory, this chocolate manufacturer required a transfer and dosing solution to be implemented in an ATEX food-processing environment.
Sugar, milk powder and raw materials
The Customer wanted to increase its productivity by modernising its icing sugar milling line, which had been in operation since 1999.
The Client wanted to replace its transfer system which presented several problems:
- Transfer difficulties
- Complicated cleaning
- Operational hardship
- Diatomaceous earth
- Green clay
Transferring several products, including resin pellets, in the form of friable flakes, from a Big Bag bouncer to a dilution tank; in an ATEX zone.

The Customer wanted to transport a very wet material - close to molasses consistency, from a big-bag station to 3 buffer tanks at 4, 5 and 10 meters respectively.
The Customer had a 1500L tank located in their building, with a transfer line for their product A (SBS), with a flow rate of 16m3.
A rigid screw passed through the wall of this building to feed a silo located outside. From this silo a mixer was fed.
Total distance from the ground was 18 metres.
In the manufacturing process, the SBS throughput had to be doubled and product B (Sulphur) had to be added in a defined quantity and at a precisely defined rate.
This manufacturer wanted to feed its rotational moulding machines.
The system was to feed the moulds directly from a hopper 5 meters away.
This family-run, technology-oriented company was packaging its talc in 25kg bags. They wanted to optimise the transfer of the talc to the 8-meters high dosing machine.
This manufacturer contacted us for a project to supply two complete PVC pipe manufacturing plants - with five primary materials.
Thefirst part must feed two turbo-mixers, from five products to be weighed. The second part must feed five extruders, after turbo-mixers.

The Customer had two TRANSITUBE transfer lines correctly sized for its use.
However, as its ATEX zoning has changed, they are no longer compliant. It therefore wished to readapt its lines accordingly.
