Overall project management

Your project in its entirety

At Transitube, you have a dedicated Project Manager.

It intervenes from the reading of the specifications to the industrial commission ing (MSI), including design and manufacturing orders.

Together with your teams, it defines - according to the process and physical constraints - the optimal location for your environment.

He will come to your plant during commissioning to test the system with your staff and transfer knowledge of its operation.

Project management

The first step is to understand the context, the process, in order to choose the most suitable Transitube solution:

  • Location space, production constraints
  • Desired flow rate(s) and/or dosages
  • Analysis of the powder and its behaviour

Based on these elements, the project manager will define :

Mechanics

  • Layout and footprint
  • 3D system design
  • Manufacturing plans
  • Support

Electrical/automation/pneumatic

  • Functional analysis
  • Electrical specifications
  • Electrical studies and diagrams
  • Pneumatic diagrams

The deliverables

TQC technical file (as built), layout diagram, functional analysis, electrical and pneumatic wiring, sensor manual, instruction manual and commissioning report.

Test stations

Transitube has three test stations in France, located in Brittany, Ile-de-France and PACA.

These tests make it possible to measure and characterise the behaviour of the materials transported.

Our laboratory specialists will perform bulk density and tapped density measurements to examine the relationship between weight and volume of the material under test.

Granulometry refers to the size of powder or aggregate particles. The aim of particle size analysis is to determine and examine the various diameters of the particles that make up an aggregate.

Analysis and calculation of the angle of repose can be used to qualify the flow difficulty of a powder or granulate.

Carr and Hausner indices are used to assess the fluidity of powders, which is crucial in various industries, such as chemistry, metallurgy... These indices provide indications of the flow behavior of a powder, which is essential when handling, transporting and processing powder materials.

These indices are important because poor powder flow can lead to problems such as blockages in manufacturing processes, inhomogeneous material distribution, and dosing problems. By monitoring these indices, companies can adjust their manufacturing processes and optimize the quality of their end products.

Fusible, arching, clogging, hydrophilic, electrostatic, crumbly, abrasive... All behaviors are observed and returned to you after your powder has been studied.

We also offer on-site testing, thanks to our mobile station available for hire.
