Scan the barcode of each mould allowing to fill them with a weight from 6 to 65 kgs (tolerance of +/- 50 grams)
Ensure sufficient throughput to keep up with the machine's output
The filling system must not interfere with the demoulding phase
What was the response?
FEEDING GROUP: We have developed a weighing hopper mounted on a chassis, equipped with 3 guide wheels.
The feeder is attached to the hopper.
This assembly rests on a rail allowing the rotation of the weighing unit. A system allows the hopper to be blocked in the "mould filling" position.
This hopper is fed from a Big-bag emptying station on the ground, by a flexible mechanical feeder
LOCATION: We have moved the axis of the hopper 2 meters away from the mould filling axis in order to free up the demoulding area.
FLOW: We have used a new type of motorisation for the dosing unit in order to have a wider operating range.
This amplitude makes it possible to carry out the first part of the filling process at high speed and to end the cycle with a low speed to achieve the tolerance of +/- 50g.
CONTROL: The unit is controlled by a PLC and touch screen operator panel allowing the parameterization and adjustment of the operation.
A barcode reader is connected to assign the weight of the material to be dosed.
