The project
Design and install 2 separate, robust discharge and transfer lines that can be moved to another plant within a few years if needed.
The flow rates to be respected: 2 tons/hour continuously on 2 shifts of 8H.
Eliminate the risk of material blockage encountered with the rigid screw in place until then.
What was the response?
2 Transitube big-bag holders and emptying,
2 conical hoppers of 250 L capacity in epoxy painted steel connected under the big-bag station, in order to receive the material by gravity before transferring it to the doser. Plexiglas inspection hatches allowing to see the product flowing The capacity of the hoppers had to give the operator time to replace the empty big-bag.
2 feeding/raising systems (T14) at about 3 meters high
The Transitube flexible screw is controlled by the customer's level detectors for filling the weight doser, before packaging the powder in buckets
Systems bolted to the floor to be movable and positioned to facilitate forklift passage
The RAL color for the epoxy steel was chosen by the client to respect their brand identity.
