Standalone Dust Collectors

Capture dust as close as possible to the source

When bags are opened and powders are poured into a hopper, fine dust can spread throughout the work area. When used in conjunction with a containment hood, the Transitube TDAS CC 150 stand-alone dust collector draws in dust-laden air, separates the particles, and filters the air before it is exhausted.

Designed for fine, dry dust, this compact unit helps limit its spread in the workplace. Its built-in motorized fan creates localized extraction tailored to your facility.

How does the dust collector work?

  1. Negative Pressure System. The motorized fan unit creates suction in the network connected to the intake points.
  2. Arrival in the settling chamber. The dust-laden air enters an area where its velocity decreases.
  3. Gravity separation. The largest particles fall into the collection bucket.
  4. Filtration of fine dust. The remaining particles settle on the filter cartridge.
  5. Automatic filter cleaning. Compressed air pulses clean the filter at adjustable intervals.
  6. Filtered air exhaust. The air is expelled through the vent located at the back of the unit.
  7. The cartridge is accessible through the front door.
  8. The dust collection bucket can be removed from the front—after opening the side latches—to make it easier to empty the collected dust.

A configuration tailored to your collection points

The standard version offers a nominal airflow rate of 400 m³/h. A 1,000 m³/h version is also available: it can be connected to up to six intake points, depending on the system’s design and the suction requirements of each workstation.

The choice of equipment takes into account the nature of the dust, the number of workstations to be connected, and the installation constraints. In particular, it integrates with hoppers equipped with a containment hood for opening and emptying bags.

Variations and Options

  • Air flow rate: 1,000 m³/h version for higher airflow requirements.
  • Installation in an ATEX environment: outdoor version or indoor version with a flameless discharge device, to be determined based on the characteristics of the dust and the installation conditions.
  • Filter media: hydrophobic-oleophobic, antistatic, or PTFE-coated options, depending on the application.
